Generally pleased with hotel location, atmosphere and dining. However costly wi-fi and faxing (€4 per page) Many bars in resort offer free wi-fi. Following accident on slopes the hotel charged us €8 to fax information to insurers. Would have thought under circumstances they may have been happy to help us. The best hotel we have stayed in so far in Les Arcs. Rooms were nicely furnished, clean and comfortable to stay in. Staff were relatively freindly and tried hard to speak english. The location of this hotel is great, and if you want a trip where you have easy access to the slope you can not beat it. We spent a week at the hotel in mid March with our 3 children ages 8, 12 and 14 and had a great time. The most attractive feature of the hotel is it's location. We wanted a mid-week break in Les Arcs, and the Hotel du Golf was one of the few places where you can get rooms by the night, rather than a week. A triple room cost us €720 for 3 nights, and the best deal was to book directly on the hotel web site and pay in Euros. This saved about... more

24/02/07 Have returned today after a super week at the Hotel du Golf, Arc 1800. We got an excellent last minute deal to the hotel and knowing the area had lots of snow and having skied the superb Paradiski area before, our only reservation was not knowing the hotel. The Hotel is not able to cater for the foreign travellor. None of it's staff speak English the menus aren't in English the Tv channels aren't in English. The people at the hotel are exceptionally rude ignorant unhelpful, and arrogant, if this is their attitude they should not be selling rooms to British travel operators.
