Stayed on January 2nd, surprisingly full of guests at this place. We arrived relatively late time to check-in- going uphill in the snow without any outside light /ramp was not easy to find this place... Located in the mountains, tucked away from the tourist packed Shirakawago, this hotel offered a refreshing experience to our Japan trip. It was snowing when we stayed here in April, providing a scenary which was in stark contrast to that in Shrakwago.
