We have just returned from 10 nights at the Highmount Hotel in Hakuba. The hotel is perfect for an affordable family holiday in the snow. Although it is not located directly opposite the ski lifts the family run Hotel is only a short walk up the hill and it runs a shuttle bus whenever you want a lift. You can ski back to the front door. Discount ski passes are available at the hotel.

The facilities are very clean, warm and confortable. The Onsen is fantastic. For any group or family that wants a confortable affordable holiday the Highmount is perfect. more
