We spent a week at this lovely, rustic hotel at the height of the ski season. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel has a wonderful foyer and a lounge/bar area with open fire places and large comfy chairs. All of the brochures declared the Mominoki luxurious...so we and alot of our fellow guests were disappointed. Rooms smelt of mothballs, fixtures and fittings were below even usual lower Japanese ski hotel standard and there was an air of neglect and cost cutting throughout.
