- Luisiana Hotel Santa Ana

My husband, son and I recently spent one night at the Hotel Luisiana. It is very nice. Rooms are large, quiet and relaxing. We had dinner at the restaurant and the pastas were very delicious. We will stay here again.
First time here and we will be back. Very clean and spacious. Great value for the money. Very nice breakfast and friendly staff. What more can you ask for?
Stayed here with a friend after flying into san Jose late. It was a bit of a maze getting to the hotel and quite a few wrong turns and U turns but once arriving the hotel is very safe with two gates to enter and is beautiful. Reception in very nice and the staff were friendly. There are great shared...

The quietest hotel I have stayed in while in the Central Valley, the hotel lives up to the pictures on their website. For anyone staying overnight before a flight the next day, the location is superb. Although I have seen people complain online about the $20 fee for airport dropoff, taking a metered taxi will only save you $2, and...

My husband and I stay at the Luisiana when we have to stay on the Escazu side of San Jose.
We have been there 3 times, and have never had a problem with the internet or television. The rooms are spacious and well appointed, the bathrooms huge.
Stayed in the new wing and think it will be great when the...

We stayed on two occasions in this hotel, on our trip to Costa Rica. We really enjoyed the place. We stayed in the rooms with a kitchen, which were very large. Right outside your door there was a sitting area just for your use, which we used frequently. It felt like being in your own apartment. It was also very...

I would have given this hotel a (4) or "Very Good", but there were a few problems.
Problem #1 - The owner had unfortunately hired a young lady named Geneva to work at the front desk. To put it lightly her people skills lacked in several ways and she had no business working in tourism. Not only myself, but other...

I am a mom, and this was my first time staying at Hotel Luisiana before returning to the U.S.. I requested a crib (it is actually a pack-n-play, it does the job too!), and I was provided with one. The staff were very helpful, and attentive. The room was very clean, there was a flat screen, a control temperature unit...

We have stayed three times and the rooms are comfortable, clean and affordable. The rooms come with air con, a fridge, a flat screen tv and a mac computer. The staff were friendly and helpful. The pillow top beds were the softest beds I have ever slept in. The rooms also have free international calls. The only problem we had...
