Stayed here for a night to break the journey from the Med to Calais. Very welcoming,clean and convenient. Easy to get to from the ring road and only a 10 minute drive from the Chartres Cathedral. Room slightly small but adequate for a couple for a few nights. Good bar/restaurant. No problems at all.

Others have said the rooms are small. I likened ours to an Etap room without the bunk.OK there is a bath..but a small one. Bed was very comfortable. Service at check in was very good and the Captain Birdseye in charge of breakfast, check out, flask filling, water bottle filling carried out all tasks with consummate good grace and humour.... More

Room clean and comfortable and quiet. Had a great night sleep. Meal in the restaurant very good and reasonably priced. Staff friendly. Didn't. Leave the hotel as we were only there. For one night so cannot comment on area where the hotel is situated.

Stopped over on the way to Pezenas from Calais. Easy access from ring road, quiet suburb, secure free surface parking, good economical evening meal, very silent room, excellent free wifi in the room, and the usual plastic Ibis experience. Stayed at this hotel as a stopover to our destination of Poitou Charentes. Usual clean, comfortable rooms, with friendly staff. Good selection for breakfast, although the baguettes did not appear to be as fresh as they could be! Located about 10 minutes by car from the centre of Chartres. We would certainly stay here again.

Good location, very friendly and helpful staff. Bed very comfortable but rooms not sound proofed so heard another guest arriving. Also only had breakfast so 'paid' for the facility of dinner which we didn't want. However, would use it again. Good close proximity to Geant supermarket with cheap fuel and ability to buy food for the evening.

We stayed in this hotel at the same time in 2012. We found it convenient , helpful & dog friendly The breakfast is very good The location is somewhat from the centre of Chartres but we were not going in. We were on our way to Spain
