First off, this isn't a traditional hotel. It is a family-owned, extended-stay facility for summer visitors. We were very fortunate to be able to stay there for only 3 nights. They typically book for a week or more. The rooms are large studios with kitchens. They are newly renovated with exquisite attention to detail. The wood finishing is especially nice. Our room had a 19th century support beam exposed and ever-so-subtly tinted to blend in with the colorful walls.
There are only 4 rooms currently. The owners are working on a 5th. There is a pool and lovely patio area. Rooms were only 70 euro per night. The owner couldn't have been nicer. She speaks adequate English and German.
Jardin de Palme is not set up at present to take credit cards. You will need cash, travelers checks, etc to pay when checking out.
