We stayed here as we were working on a project nearby. It was lovely, really good setting, very comfortable place, extremely welcoming and rooms really nice even if not all were en suite you still had a private bathroom nearby so really brilliant value and perfect service. Would highly recommend

The rooms are great, very clean and comfortable with views over the town and to the hills beyond. Good quiet location but within easy walk of the town centre. Loads of choice for breakfast, just fill out extensive breakfast card.

On Coast and Castles cycle route and delighted to stay at Glede Knowe, with comfy beds, great shower and delicious breakfast. Very welcoming, very well appointed. But not stuffy at all and welcoming to walkers and cyclists As far as I know (wasn't looking!) no pool or fitness centre

I stayed one night between mountain biking days at Glentress; this is a really great B&B - the people are genuinely very friendly, the room and breakfast were spot on, and mountain bikers are welcome and catered for. Highly recommended.

The Glede Knowe is undoubtedly the best guest house I have ever stayed in in nearly 60 years of travelling around Scotland. Have stayed there several times now when mountain biking with two young grandsons now aged 14 and 10.
