“Very Nice 400 Yr Old Hotel”

This 400 yr old hotel is an extremely nice place to stay at the norther terminus of the St Gotthard Pass in Hospental. Because of its age, the ceilings are low; and a room with a shower definitely shows that the WC and shower were shoehorn added later. The kitchen is traditional Swiss cooking and is very good.
