The accommodation in this farmhouse is excellent. A beautiful old building, full of character, decorated with taste. The Beamed Room is a delight, well-appointed, spacious and with a fresh and clean bathroom. We were made to feel very welcome and invited to use a beautiful sitting room. The attention to detail was fabulous; books to browse, maps to look at... More

What a find! Peace and quiet and a lovely location to explore the towns and villages of Suffolk. Excellent local eateries nearby and good advice from our hosts meant we ate very well for the three nights we stayed, the time flew by. When you stay somewhere new do you invariably see something you might do better or differently? I... More

Homely and friendly staff, with fabulous home cooking using local fresh produce. Wonderful walks to nearby village, or the gardens provide a peaceful environment to just read a book. More

I have just enjoyed the most beautifully relaxing stay at Poplars Farmhouse. The house is large, beautiful, warm and inviting, I immediately felt at home. Our room the panelled room was spacious, beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable with a high standard of cleanliness and attention to detail. There was a drawer full of children's books and toys in the room.... More

This is a really magical place to stay. The location is fantastic if you like great country walks, and fantastic pubs. The house itself is beautiful, large and welcoming, with large and pretty gardens. Our kids fell in love with it all on first sight. Our room was huge, and had a four poster bed and lots of books scattered... More

It is based in a very quiet location surrounded by wonderful countryside, which was more then welcome coming from the hectic bustle of london! The room I stayed in was the beam room and... More

Poplars is in an idyllic location, tucked between green rolling hills. Quiet is what it really is, save the noisy wild life! There's some Owls nesting, a sound that reminded me of my childhood. Rooms are fab, big log burner in the dining room & Paul's breakfasts are delicious. The grandfather clock kind of finishes off the whole Ambiance. Bring... More
