This is a lovely pub; it has character and is warm and inviting. We had a relaxing drink there, then stayed for a meal. Tomato soup with balsamic vinegar (really delicious) and slices of bread. We won't be going to the Angel due to very poor customer service. When we tried to arrange a cream tea which is clearly advertised on their web site we were told 48 hours notice is required. Visited the Angel Inn  for a second time recently on mothers day, had a great meal which was excellent value and the service was first class. Great to see this wonderful village  pub is once again very popular! Well done to all.
