My (wonderful) boyfriend booked dinner and an overnight stay as a belated Valentines treat.We stayed on a Saturday night during February 2009. When we arrived we received a friendly and efficent welcome. The room was truly FANTASTIC. Very clean,fabulous 4 poster bed (very comfortable),super bathroom and great shower. Fabulous historic mansion. Great food, friendly owners. Loved our bedroom overlooking the rose garden. Will be back for my wedding anniversary in March. more

What a wonderful hotel, Home from home, the Beardsmore family are so homely, food here is out of this world, one of the best hotels I have stayed in. Quite a small hotel but so friendly, warm and inviting. Will definately be going back and would recommend it. Excellent. more
