If you are looking for a small hotel with a huge heart, one hour from Bordeaux ,in the heart of the Landes countryside this is the one for you.
M and Madame Lefebvre have recently taken over this typical small French hotel and are doing their utmost to make it a place to be proud of in terms of service and hospitality.
Bearing in mind this is a 2* hotel without pretensions, the rooms are spotlessly clean and the beds very comfortable.
The restaurant is used equally by locals, residents and passing trade and the service is enthusiastic and very caring. Nothing was too much trouble and the choice on the prix fixe and table d'hote menus of mostly local and traditionally French food never disappointed..
There is a small temporary swimming pool in the garden and a larger permanent one soon to be available to guests.
What we paid for our rooms and meals (66 euros for a double room incl breakfast)and the prix fixe menu @ 18.50 and 25 euros) was well worth... more
