This is our 2nd visit to this park, 1st time stayed in bungalow but this time we stayed in a caravan. We chose a gold caravan to stay in as hubby's not a great caravan fan but is now after our visit. We stayed in the AA19 right at the top of the site. First thing we noticed when we... More

Where do I begin !! we (16 ladies in total) to celebrate my Mothers 60th Birthday, the whole 4 day trip was a surprise for my Mum, and Donna (at reception) had been wonderful in helping with all aspects of our stay, especially smuggling in my Aunt who had flew over from Miami to surprise the full family, our lodges... Stayed in L21 which we chose because it had a hot tub. Nice and spacious with good facilities. Layout of the holiday park is very nice, built into a hillside. Excellent mountain biking nearby, we hired bikes from Gorsebank. Surprisingly good par 3 golf course across the road which is relaxed about playing but is a stern test. Nice walk... More

Myself, my husband and daughter have just returned from a wonderful stay at Kippford Holiday Park. After fighting our way through the snow and a day late (the worst snow Kippford residents had seen in years!) with frazzled nerves and a very tired two year old the welcome received from the staff at the park was a lot warmer than... just returned from this place it was awful the touring pitches were a sea of mud all being tracked into the caravan, we had flooring down in our awning but it just oozed up the holes. the so called woodland walks were decorated with piles of gravel & gas tanks. the pitches themselves were difficult to get up onto being... From Robin Aston, the Park Owner.... This response has it's truths but: The 'sea of mud' was on our most requested pitches and caused by others driving on grassed awning areas. All such pitches are now gravelled. The 'piles of gravel...' were only for 15 yards and adjacent to the top of our highest forest entrance. The two pitches (see... More

On arrival at Kippford Holiday Park in a touring caravan we were initially directed to an unusable pitch. When i say directed - we were given a map and told to find our own way there. The pitch was like a waterlogged building site. We asked to move to another pitch- this was marginally better. Very wet and a hotchpotch... More

From the Park Owner, Robin Aston This reviewer travelled with the Reviewer above - see my comment there. We relocated the client as soon as they stated a preference for a different pitch of their choice. I'm shocked that my staff allowed a tap to leak, but it may still be so because of the severe weather before and since... More

Stayed here the first weekend of February. We had a VIP lodge with a hot tub. It was absolutely gorgeous. Accommodation was amazing, u couldn't want for anything. It was very well equipped. Lodges are very well spaced out so it's very private. I would definitely stay again. If your visiting out of season then bring food and drink with... More
