The hotel is spelt Wilhelmina but generally the town is called Vilhelmina.

Spent many nights at this hotel over the years, ask for a room overlooking the lake (frozen in winter) and it's a nice place to relax. Breakfast is typical Swedish fayre and the restaurant is ok but I've never seen it very busy, the bar, like any other here, is expensive.

The "town" itself is very small but is the largest for miles, driving North in the winter from here other cars tend to be few and far between and if you hire a snowmobile it's quite likely you won't see anyone else at all once off the main drag. more
