I didn't expect such a wonderful welcome - children are loved. The breakfast time was very relaxed with a very varied menu and nothing was too much trouble. I am not usually a bed and breakfast person but this experience has most definitely changed my view on the subject.

Our recent walking holidaystaying at many pubs. The Dog Inn was the best by far with the charming landlady treating us as friends rather than guests.Great food and atmosphere in the bar. Huge full breakfasts are served in the cottage. A family atmosphere and comfortable furnishings combine to ensure everyone is happy. I will be back!

We booked the Dog for a 'girls night in'. We had a lovely meal in the pub at a very reasonable price and then spent a really lovely evening in our gorgeous rooms - the rooms are huge and very comfortable. Breakfast was served in the Cottage which is stunning - I will definately be back!

I had lunch at the Dog last Saturday and the food was great. Really good atmosphere. It is a traditional english pub. Love the food love the landlady. Great gardens we took our dog and unsurprising with the name of the pub she was more than welcome.
