
enjoyed the stay though disappointed to find the restaurant was closed on Saturday and Sunday which meant we had to go searching for a restaurant. I would recommend that the hotel makes this point clear on their internet site.
Don't look for Mercure - this hotel is/was an old Ibis and is still branded as such [whether that will change, who knows?] so don't go looking for Mercure signs.

we arrived on a Sunday evening to find that the hotel's restaurant, which is well outside of Charleville, was closed and there was no other facility to get food. In the room there were even insuffucient tea bags and milk and no water - relly poor value

This hotel is in a residential position, which is an advantage regarding peace and quiet. However, it is too far to walk to the centre of Meziers (which is the nearest of the two towns). Hotel itself is smallish, very clean, very friendly staff with reasonable sized rooms - TV / tea & coffee making and a comfortable bed!
