The King William IV is just what a country Inn should be, warm, with a friendly owner and staff, and very relaxed. Food is served in a large bar area and three other restaurant areas. The varied menu includes old favourites and daily specials and local seafood. The surrounding country and wonderful north Norfolk coastline with its little inlets and... More

Delays in service, ( for which we did receive an apology from the management ), coupled with only average but unimpressive food quality -the seared tuna was not "pink" as promised on the menu-resulted in an overall disappointing dining experience. More

We visited the restaurant on a Friday night and the place was about half full. The greeting on arriving was welcoming and the restaurant staff very helpful. We ordered starters and mains. I ordered what was predominantly a prawn cocktail as my starter. It arrived looking rather impressive in a stack. Unfortunately I presume these had been made up prior... More

This is becoming our annual escape from the domestic festive chaos ,being the second year we have enjoyed meals at this relaxing restaurant for Boxing Day Lunch and New Year's Eve Dinner. The food is always superb and cooked the way we like it, perhaps not the way the chef would recommend, as we like our steaks very well done.... More

Another first class stay. The rooms still look brand new with spotless bathrooms and huge comfortable beds. Despite some other reviews, I found all the staff very helpful and Nick made a point of welcoming us back and speaking to all the other guests and diners. A really nice tough. The chef is amazing, Nick you need to keep him,... More

We had a two night break in October and had a wonderful weekend. Our room was clean and well decorated, the food was top notch and you cannot fault the service. We ate in the very busy restaurant on both nights and they had no problems providing gluten-free meals. The friendly waitress said we would have a longer wait than... More

We had four wonderful nights at this pub in early September. Nick's personal oversight of every detail for both staff and customers really shows. Everything just so right! More

Really clean and immaculately done out Inn, but in particular the staff were really friendly and caring. The landlord came and sought us out to welcome us in the bar in the evening. The food was excellent, particulary the English breakfast and the selection of teas. Only downside was the very loud ticking clock on the wall in our bedroom.... More

The three of us have had an excellent two night stay in two rooms at this pub. The staff were very professional throughout, and the rooms were some of the cleanest we have ever used. Not an ideal venue for anyone with mobility problems as there are a lot of steps. Also found the hallway lighting tricky as you have... More
