My family visited the Ship Inn for a set Christmas meal, we preordered from a good selection of food, but were more than surprised with the meal we got. I expected standard pub grub, but instead we got fantastic home made food. The inn was clean, warm and very inviting. The table was dressed elegantly, with a wonderful view of... More

Disappointed as £90 per night price tag and snazzy website suggested this was going to be a good quality b&b but our stay was decidedly average. Room- average and mostly pretty clean. Officious notice in en suite regarding penalties for" misuse of the bathroom" . Shower had loads of mould around the sealant. Little bottles of toiletries were already half... More

We stayed at the Ship Inn for two nights as we were doing a breadmaking course locally. The accommodation is of a high standard and clean and comfortable throughout. Breakfast is cooked to order and is excellent (top marks for good bacon and black pudding). Food in the restaurant is of an extremely high standard (this from someone who lives... More

We stayed for two nights at the end of April and had room 5 with a four poster bed. Room was pleasant and very clean, as was everywhere in this inn. The owner and staff go as far as they can to accommodate you and are friendly, approachable and courteous. The evening meal and breakfast were of a high standard... More

We stayed here having stopped off and in Newnham. We were met by Mat who was extremely helpful and showed us the room. A sttndard style room you would expect with wardrobe, dressing table, TV, tea & coffee making facility and TV. It also had an ensuite bathroom with shower. All in all a very pleasant, clean and tidy room.... More
