Reception We were made to feel extremely welcome by the receptionist. I didn't catch his name but he really engaged our daughter and deserves a customer service award. Whilst visiting the pool the female receptionist was also very friendly. Lodge We stayed in a Redesdale Comfort Lodge, number 24, if it helps. We've stayed in a fair few platinum and... More

Had a nice 4 night stay for a very decent price as it was booked the night before as a last minute break, we stayed in Hadrian Comfort lodge and cant fault it really, everything you could possibly want or need including a washer/dryer and dishwasher, the park itself was nice and had plenty to keep you busy, the fact... I can't fault the Lodges at Kielder. Great service, great facilities and superbly maintained. Where the accommodation isn't the cheapest, there's no extra charges for electricity and there's 24/7 support. The restaurant facilities are excellent, the foods good but maybe a little basic. A lovely holiday experience with lots of outdoor activities.

We had the pleasure of spending Christmas in a Redesdale lodge. I was apprehensive about the size of the lodge and how nice it would be, I need not have worried, the lodge was plenty big enough for the 5 of us and very well equipped. It was spotlessly clean along with the surrounding area. It was the first time... More

We stayed at Kielder lodges having picked up an autumn deal and were thoroughly impressed. We booked a 2 bedroom lodge, 1 for my wife and I and one for our baby. We took our own travel cot which fitted in although there were travel cots available for a small fee if required. The lodge was very clean and had... More

We stayed here in April 2012, a very cold time of the year to go but it was our first holiday as a family with our little boy. The log cabins were excellent, 2 bedroom and all the amenities you could ever need. The heating in the cabin was excellent and needed! The shop and swimming pool were excellent. The... More

This is a remote scenic location with limited amenities and, as such, prompted our reserving one of the more expensive lodges. A degree of disappointment occurred in that the kitchen area, whilst fully equipped, could really do with an upgrade which, together with the dining area, felt more than a little downmarket. That said, expectations were more than satisfied on... More

We thought this would be an ideal holiday for 2 active boys aged 11 and 12 but were very disappointed. Although the bike paths were good the surrounding roads were too busy to cycle comfortably on. Our kids enjoy road cycling so options were very limited, may be more available for mountain bikes although the mountain bike skill courses advertised... More

The first impression is with my nose, open the door and smell, time and time again to go somewhere and the smell of damp or the previous occupants fried breakfast but this smelt fresh and clean. We stayed in No1 which we paid a little more for but this was a break without kids and without the thought of work... More
