In early March with only minor room changes the group we were with settled in quickly. Built as the original owners accumulated wealth over the years, no room is the same and its well worth a tour to see all the possibilites. The food is good and we used the pool. Surajgarh itself is very walkable and interesting.

I am writing this review almost after a year of my visit. Awesome place to visit if you want a luxury weekend trip! I would suggest drive from Gurgaon to Jhunjhunu. Little difficult to reach the place via public transport. Perfect setting for a historic fort. Rooms are awesome and spacious! The dinner buffet was exquisite with beverages served on request (prices of alcohol are over the top though). There are local attractions like puppet shows and dance performances on request.
