Basic and a bit dog-eared cabins but clean. Owners very friendly/ helpful. But best of all is the setting, really a hideaway. Our kids (3 and 5) loved the bonfire, the glowworms, the dogs.

I could hardly believe my good fortune when I found myself at Mt Warning Forest Hideaway. Here I found the quiet, beauty, peace and solitude I was craving. For me the absence of cell phone coverage, internet and television was a welcome and rare treat, and in the untouched seventies décor of the budget studio I felt right at home....

We were looking for a place to "chillax" while being near nature and beaches if required. didn't want "Luxury" anything nor "resort" activities...so we took a punt.
What a breath of fresh air...literally.
No phone (mobile or landline, but the managers have a phone in an emergency), so no internet, no TV....it was heaven.

the rooms were outdated and old fashion. it wasnt as advisted. the walking track was over grown and hard to navigate.
