Its a retreat one can never forget. Seated in a village, one gets all the amenities expected from a star category resort. Service is praiseworthy, and staff is extremely courteous. The cook has the capability of producing delicacies, including local fare. The resort is located at a place from where one can undertake short treks, and village walks. Best of... More

Cherry Village Resort is the brainchild of Sushil Tamang, a native of the town Darap, which is 6 km out of Pelling. The premises and rooms are beautiful (though the bathrooms still leave something to be desired in comparison), and Sushil is a wonderful host. Visited Darap in April 2011 and we stayed at Cherry Village resort which is located in a village called Darap, 15 mins from Pelling.
