My family (three teenagers) enjoyed a lovely, peaceful stay in the Barnhouse, Joe and Mary's self-catering cottage, for a week in late July. Joe and Mary couldn't have been better hosts. Mary had homemade scones and jam and a basket of fresh eggs waiting for us, and Joe had a fist full of honeysuckle from their lovely garden. They are... more

Wow, we were lucky enough to stay with Mary and Joe for three nights. They would have to be the nicest owners of a B&B in Ireland. Mary and Joe are the perfect hosts, friendly and helpful. Their house is filled with their own excellent artworks. Breakfasts are award winning, don't miss the fluffy scones or butteryscrambled eggs with local smoked salmon. more

We have just come back from a wonderful holiday along Northern Ireland's Antrim Coast - the coastline is amazing, the people friendy, and the weather surprisngly beautifully sunny. One of the places we stayed at was Drumkeerin. Although there is a steep hill to the B&B it provides lovely views of Cushendun. Mary and Joe are true B&B hosts -... more

Four of us turned up at Drumkeerin B&B on our bikes in the pouring rain, having cycled from Belfast. The steep slog up the driveway was hard work, but the welcome at the top made up for it! Mary and Joe were the most wonderful hosts. They greeted us and showed us to our lovely, cosy, clean rooms, then.....as it... more
