We were members of a wedding party who had been put up at the hotel. We stayed three nights in a villa which we shared with two other couples. We were the only bedroom on the ground floor while the two other couples had bedrooms on the first. The rooms were very very basic with hardly anything to boast about. There was a bathroom, but it wasn't attached. You have to walk out of your room to use it. Another annoyance was that the villa only had one key which had to be kept at reception, which meant you either kept the villa open all day thus putting your belongings at risk, or you kept having to walk to reception to collect the key and return it.
The food was pretty poor. We were a stone's throw away from Fort Aguada, so we just headed there for breakfast which was 1000x better.
The staff were find, but there were one or two annoying ones who were always in your face. One even called us up on the phone a few times over some issue, which was quite uncalled for...
