We had a wonderful welcome from Maureen and Roy at the lovely and quite spectacular Twitham Barn. I was visiting with my parents and we took both rooms which were beautifully appointed and comfortable and provided all the features of any five star hotel room. I was particularly touched to be greeted with fresh flowers and a lovely homemade card... More

Twitham Barn is a beautifully restored property which Maureen and Roy clearly love. They make the job of hosting look effortless and I felt so welcome in their house. I stayed with a friend in the upstairs twin room which was very comfortable and had a gorgeous private bathroom. Sheets crisp and white, towels warm and fluffy - what more... More

Maureen and Roy have painstakingly restored this beautiful barn. I have stayed in the ground floor room. The bathroom is beautiful. Underfloor heating throughout. Fresh mik fir my tea, nice biscuits too. Maureen takes great pride in her home and it's shows. They are both very friendly, lovely people. I am staying her alone and felt very safe without my... what a gorgeous conversion & so relaxing, Maureen & Roy treated us like friends & couldn't do enough to make our 1 night stay so comfortable. We'd driven back from visiting our Son in Germany & decided to book somewhere overnight this time instead of carrying on up to Birmingham as we usually do, & what a find!! We had... More

Wow.... What a wonderful experience. The converted barn, the rooms, the breakfast, the kind hospitality of Maureen and Roy... What more can you ask for. I have travelled the world and been to many luxury hotels and my stay here was just as amazing, if not better with the personal touch from the wonderful hosts. It was a home from... More

From your first view of the Barn, (an absolutely amazing conversion by Roy and Maureen) and then meeting the hosts themselves, you’ll know you’re in for a wonderful experience. After a warm greeting from Maureen and Roy, we gratefully accepted their offer of tea and biscuits on the patio. We then settled in to our large and beautiful twin bedded... More

One of the best weekend stays I can remember. A room of great comfort, a home of charm and incredible attention to detail and a fantastic breakfast. Highly recommended. Many thanks Maureen and Roy for making me and my family so welcome. Vince Stevenson

We had a relaxing stay, and our snug/ lounge was a real bonus. Roy and Maureen were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Our breakfast was beautifully presented and prepared with fresh ingredients, nothing was too much trouble, and we would recommend.

We stayed for one night and arrived to very welcoming hosts and a perfectly clean and tidy room with great facilities and our own snug / lounge! Breakfast was fantastic, with a fresh fruit buffet followed by either continental or full english breakfasts. We had the full english which was everything you'd want to fuel you up for a coastal... Twitham Barn is a beautiful haven of tranquility. The hosts, Maureen & Roy, are the two most welcoming and friendliest people you could wish to meet and this immediately came across when they opened the door to us. We stayed in the downstairs double room (which also had a seperate lounge to relax during the evenings after a busy day... More
