We spread our family across three cottages, including ours, Jake's Cottage, which was just for two people. All were well equipped and comfortable, and we enjoyed getting together for evening meals outside (a couple more tables would be good!). The cottages are cosy and well equiped. The location of the cottages are an ideal base to visit places such as Alnwick, Seahouses and Bambourgh. We found a hidden gem in Christon Bank called the Blink Bonny public house. The food was excellent the outside doesn't look to much but if you like good wholesome food give it a try.... More
