We stayed at Villa 139 at Alma Verde, very well fitted out and a good design. Reception staff very helpfull through our stay. Burgau is the local fishing village and the restaurants are very good. We are going back Easter and looking forward to our holiday.

Alma Verde area was a wonderful find, just outside the village of Burgau on the Algarve and so near several lovely places to visit. The villa was the perfect base from which to enjoy our holiday. The location was best described as tranquil with easy access to the surrounding beaches, golf courses and picturesque towns and villages. We've been to this part of Portugal on many occasions but this was the best, we will be back soon.
