We set out to find hidden Austria...having already seen every castle, church and location from Sound of Music, Where Eagles Dare and The Third Man.......so finding the Treehouse was a fantastic coup.

If your looking for 5 stars and waiter service...move on...however, if your looking for friendly, welcoming, helpful and a light hearted retreat in beautiful surroundings this is your place.

The rooms are great for the money, really comfortable and very very clean...we have stayed in £150 a night rooms which were equally as good as here.

After scaling a 1600m mountain, or cycling 50km or white water rafting the best thing to look forward to is a hearty meal, and for all of eight euros. Three courses..bargain, and especially as your host is a former master baker, and his Ghoulash is the best we have ever tasted anywhere in the world!!!
