Took 8 days to confirm our booking. Arrived to find dirty sheets, used soap in the shower, no bedside lights, bathroom lights weren't working at all, room door didn't lock, etc, etc, etc. Staff were disinterested. Couldn't get hold of the owner. Absolutely appalled. Such a pity because the location and property has such potential. Avoid at all costs.

Our travel business booked an international performer to stay at Dolphin Crest. Last minute the guest house decided to cancel the booking. The guest house has never refunded the monies (8000 ZAR). We bought a groupon voucher for a 3 night stay. This was the longest 3 nights ever. The roof was leaking all the way from the 3rd floor to reception area. There is water all over and smelly carpets everywhere on the stairs, which may result in injuries. You could hear water dripping while trying to sleep..and the passage smelled.... More
