We were part of a club exhibiting a model railway at Auchenharvie Academy, Stevenston for the weekend. We were delighted with our accommodation, which was only 5 minutes or so from the venue. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the breakfasts set us up for the day. The food was excellent and I would also like to reiterate a... More

On a trip to the Isle of Arran with a Canadian Journalist to review and photograph the island and it's life, we had spent the day driving from the South East of England and needed somewhere to stay before catching the morning ferry from Ardrossan. Using a search for the nearest hotel, we found Ardeer Farm which was only 3.5... More

What can I say other than this establishment deserves it's 5 star review. Probably the best B & B we have ever stayed in. Lovely large, clean, modern room with beautiful en-suite. Breakfast was delicious & portions large. Ideal spot to stay if heading off to Arran on the ferry from Ardrossan as only 10 minutes away or if you... More

We were not quite sure what to expect from a "working farm" but we could not have been more pleased. Our room (in a cottage) was very well appointed with lovely decor. Super shower room and lovely breakfast. Very convenient for the Arran Ferry (10 minutes away). Thanks to Allan and his family for making us feel very welcome -... More

A reaaly good place to stay in you are ever in the Stevenson area of Scotland. Absolutely fantastic room to stay, with all the mod cons. Based on a working farm, so it has all the ambience of such an establishment, but I had one of the best nights sleep away from home for a long time. Not as remote... More

We were a family of 4 staying for one night in the area for a sports competition. The directions given on booking were spot on. We were warmly greeted by Allan who showed us to our rooms. We were lucky to be given one of the cottages, where we had a twin and double en-suite rooms, and also the use... More

This place was absolutely fantastic! Cannot fault this place in any way. We had a great nights sleep in a beautiful area, followed by a great breakfast for an astonishing price. The facilities and service were second to none. We will definitely be back again. Thanks to Allan and family for looking after us. - Harry and Claire

We have just had 2 wonderful nights staying at this great B&B and would have no problem in recommending this B&B to anyone. We were made feel welcome from the moment we arrived and were well looked after throughout our stay. Our room was large and very clean; the breakfast was great as was the conversation. Thank you to Alan... More

Spent just one night here, but will be rebooking shortly as it was so welcoming, warm and comfortable. The comprehensive instuctions for finding the place were very useful as was the 'in-room' information pack. To finish, the breakfast was lovely (fresh WARM toast !) and served cheerfully, in an immaculate brakfast room.

It is difficult to beat some of the other comments relating to Ardeer Farm; it is beautiful, it does have open views; Alan (and his mother) are extremely helpful. Boutique chic hotels? They can't match the Ardeer because you get the welcome and the warmth. This is an exclusive experience in a fully inclusive establishment; welcome to families, couples, business... More
