If you want a really chilled out break this is for you. Our room was large with a seaview, beautiful. We also faced the pool but when the doors were closed no noise. Staff very friendly and helpful. Calheta Beach is at the only sand beach on Madeira. We had an apartment in the main building and staid with our two kids age 1 and 3.
