Me and my girlfriend spent 2 weeks in this beautiful resort and loved every bit of it. first of all the location, 5 mins away from the airport, just on the main beach road, ideal. Our room was on the beach front (literally a few feet away from the beach), i could(and did) spend all day sat outside the room... more

We stayed at the Samui Pier in October 09 for 2 weeks as a family with 4 adults and 1 child aged 3 and found the place great from start to finish. Our accommodation was really nice, we stayed in rooms 21 & 22 right on the beach which was fantastic in the morning waking up to the beautiful view... more

When we arrived, the hotel fetched us from the Airport (nominal fee). It is literally 5 minutes from the airport so was quite a pleasure to get tere so quick. On arrival, the owner of the resort was there to greet us. Owner run and owner managed hotels is one thing that really makes the world of difference. I find... more

We stayed here for a few nights when we first arrived in Samui having read glowing reviews on TripAdvisor. The first eye opener was the location - on the main road between Chaweng and Bophut which lacked character or anything of interest (apart from planes going over). The stretch of beach was grotty, the water murky and the pier got... more

Hello Sir Thank you for staying at Samui Pier resort. However as the owner i am dissapointed that your stay was not satifactory. In respose to your review i would like to bring some facts to your attention. Our resort is located on the calmer side of the island, yet we are only ten minutes from the hustle and bustle...

Firstly to be fair, we only spent 1 night here as we just wanted somewhere close to the airport as we had a flight in the morning and couldn't get a ferry early enough from Koh Tao. So really all I was after was a comfortable bed to sleep in, which was the biggest flaw I found in this place.... more

Hello Sir Thank you for staying at Samui Pier Resort. In response to your review i unfortunately have to disagree with you. I'm sorry that a good nights sleep was not delivered as all our mattresses are purchased from the same suppliers as all the five star hotels on the island, this was an important factor as a comfortable nights...

This was our first port of call on arriving in Thailand and was very nice. The rooms were very clean, all with a view of the beach. Staff were helpful and pleasant. We only used the restaurant for breakfast, which was good. more

RICH.WHITE UNITED KINGDOM,SOLO TRAVELLER. I stayed at the Samui Pier Resort at the end of June 2009 for a week. I was met at the airport by one of the owners (Istak) and taken to the resort. Immediatley upon entering the resort the views strike you, 100m from the beach with access to 2 piers from which sppedboats take you... more
