My friend and I decided to take 5 day vacation on Koh Samui and wanted to have the chance to really relax. Usually, I am trying to find mid-priced hotels and Samui Palm Beach Resort really is mid-priced if you calculate with Euros. We arrived at Samui Airport and were picked up by the driver who was already waiting for... more

We stayed at the Samui Palm Beach resort for 6 nights in February and based our stay partly on reviews on this site. We stayed here prior to moving to Koh Phanghan. We were met at the airport by staff after we emailed them to notify them of our flight arrival time. A member of staff was there with our... more

We would not usually post reviews, even after a not so good experience, but after all the positive remarks that prompted us to stay here for 10 nights, we felt the need to. We didn’t want anything luxury as we usually stay in luxury propeties all year round for business, so we just wanted something nice, clean and simple. After... more

My husband & i stayed at palm beach for our 25th wedding anniversary. It was perfect. we stayed in a garden villa, which are semi-detached, have a small patio with a table & 2 chairs leading from patio doors & is shaded & partially secluded with beautiful lush garden areas. We had been offered a bungalow, but certainly glad we... more

I have been to Thailand between 35-40 times since 1973. For the price point, Samui Palm Beach is not what it should be. We booked a "Villa" and it is nothing but a larger standard room. The materials used to construct it are average, not what one would expect from this price point. This place should appointed finer for the... more

We holidayed with friends and rented 3 Garden Villas to accommodate my husband and I, our friends and our respective teenage daughters from the 22nd August for 9 nights. We had tried to book the Beach Front Villas but they were already booked. We were not disappointed with the standard of accommodation or location of our rooms. They were spacious,... more

After much deliberation and review reading,we chose to spend 10 nights at the Samui Palm Beach Hotel,in Bophut,Ko Samui. With 3 children,15,15 and 11,we were concerned about which accomodation to chosse, but opted for 2 villa apartments which were "interlinked".These were large detached hotel rooms dotted around the resorts beautiful gardens.Ours weren't actually connected but shared a veranda,so felt like they... more

If you don't want to stay in Chewang this is a great alternative. In fact don't stay in Chewang as it is just mass tourism. If you haven't been for 10 years or so you will be shocked! The rooms at the Palm are well appointed and the gardens, pool etc are well maintained. Don't expect 5 star - it... more

I stayed here with my husband and another couple for 3 nights from new years eve. We stayed in a garden room which although these are the cheapest rooms, they were fine, we got exactly what we paid for. The resort is right on the beach and has 3 swimming pools. The staff are very friendly and helpful and our... more

Very nice resort, right on the beach. Stayed in a villa few rows back from the beach, spacious, very clean, lovely bathrooms and nice grounds. Beach front Villas appear even nicer if the budget can stretch to it, garden rooms look basic but I wouldn't rule them out if on a budget. Staff all pleasant. Restaurant good although possibly a... more
