We are regular users of this local Hotel which, although dated in some areas, have pleasant members of staff. standard bedroom extremely poor value for money,old fashioned smelling damp,no hairdryer,no shower,very slim douvets and extra blanket a joke.ensure price quoted is final charged,computer seems to revert to rack rate even though a lesser amount has been quoted at time of booking.how about photo of standard room appearing on brochure rather than only superor.would recommend viewing room before committing yourself. We recently spent a weekend in and around Silloth , Cumbria, and although we didn't actually stay in the Golf Hotel we enjoyed a very nice meal there. The staff were very polite and friendly and we liked the relaxed atmosphere. I would certainly recommend it as the best place to eat in this area. More
