On Friday 24th August six intrepid explorers set out to cycle the Sustrans Hadrian Cycle Way (Route 72) from Ravenglass in Cumbria to South Shields in Tyneside, visiting Roman sites on the way. Stayed here with husband and 11 yr old child. Met with a warm welcome and immaculately clean room. Fluffy duvets and pillows were very welcome after riding the first leg of Hadrian's Wall cycle route. Delicious breakfast including perfectly poached eggs! Would highly recommend!

Nith View very good. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet and everything functioned well. The host was very helpful. In the evening we had a very good dinner at the local Golf Hotel. The English breakfast at Nith View was perfect. We recommend this B&B.
