We recommend Villa Ricardo. The setting of the villa is good, with views and easy access to the village which has a shop and several restaurants. The villa is clean and well-equipped, and Rubina and Ricardo went out of their way to make us welcome on arrival and look after us during our stay. The island is beautiful, though less... More

We stayed for 2 wonderful weeks at end of August. The villa is as good as the photos but the hospitality and service is second to none. Ricardo and Rubina were wonderful hosts and we enjoyed their company and that of the grape pickers with whom we shared an occasional aperitif. Port da Cruz is a quiet village with nearby... More
