Just had four days staying in The Dovecote, Self Catering cottage. As ever, it was clean, warm and a lovely welcome breakfast pack supplied by Isobel was waiting for us. Kilmartin is a perfect little gem for touring the amazing surrounding area. To name some, Tayvallich, Ardfern, The Knappdale peninsula and a wee run down to Tayinloan to catch the... More

We loved staying here! It was peaceful and worthwhile. The small town provided so much in the way of comfort and left me feeling like I wanted to stay in more small towns, especially those with B&B's like Rosebank. Isobel recommended dining at Kilmartin Hotel, and even made reservations for us. Though she couldn't be present during our stay, Tom... More

Rosebank is in a lovely old house right in the centre of the ancient village and over the road from the fabulous Kilmartin Museum of Ancient Culture. The room was clean, airy and spacious and with a roomy bathroom. The owners are most welcoming and so helpful and informative. We would highly recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone, not... More

This B&B is a great place to stay! It's comfortable, quiet, clean, and attractive. The owners are not only gracious, but are fonts of knowledge about the surrounding area. I was traveling by bike, and I am grateful to Isobel for guiding me away from a very hilly route to Oban that inexplicably is on the signed National Bike Network.... More

My husband and I have recently spent two nights at Rosebank. We go to Kilmartin regularly but had never tried Rosebank before, but we will definatley be back after the good Scottish hospitality we received. The breakfast was a good Scottish one which included square sausage, black pudding and haggis. I liked the fact that there was oatcakes to enjoy... More

Thank you Isobel and Tommy for yet another brilliant visit. All of the people that traveled with me fell in love with Rosebank and with your generosity and hospitality. From our warm welcome to the early breakfast on departure day and everything in between was fantastic. I look forward to my next visit in August. Anyone who is looking for... More

This Guest House is only a few steps from the Kilmartin Hotel & the Museum. It is convenient for the trails in to Kilmartin Glen and its archeological sites. The rooms are clean & comfortable with very good tea & coffee etc making facilities. The Breakfast is excellent and Isobel & her husband are very good hosts. We would not... More

My husband and I spent three nights at Rosebank and were quite taken with the generous accommodations we were given. The location is centrally located for exploring Kilmartin and is an easy drive up to Oban and the coast. The walking trails across the street lead to some of the most spectacular and numerous archaological sights in Scotland. The extras... More

Minutes walk from all the "must see" things in the area as well as a great pub. almost next door. The rooms are large and luxurious with the most amazing hospitality tray. Lots of thoughtful "extras" provided. Lovely and warm even on cold nights with plenty of hot water. Hosts are easy going and knowledgeable about the whole area. Breakfast... More
