Dunchraigaig House is ideally situated for exploring the Kilmartin area and Lynn and Cameron are the perfect hosts. The rooms are clean and comfortable and Lynn’s breakfasts are a great start to the day with the bonus of ‘muffins for elevenses’. The seclusion of the location was perhaps lessened by the noise from the road outside which made us wonder... more

My husband and I just spent 2 splendid nights at this amazing Bed and Breakfast. The attention to detail was impressive and the cooking first rate. We were greeted at the door by Cameron who then helped us up to a very comfortable room with a view of the stones through the window. We had a large clean room with... more

We stayed for 1 night and thought this was a beautiful B&B. The owners were very friendly and welcoming, recommending a good place to eat in the evening - the museum in Kilmartin. Beds very comfy! and my parent’s room had a huge bed and even bigger bathroom which looked out over the standing stones. Our room looked out over... more

We have nothing but praise for Dunchraigaig Guest House and our hosts, Lynn and Cameron. The accommodations, with thoughtful amenities, are charming and spotless. The food and the service was exceptional. Lynn is a fantastic cook and Cameron's homemade jams and jellies are so good. As hosts, they are the best - very helpful, personable but never intrusive. If we... more

I was booked into Dunchraigaig as a stop on a cycling tour. I cannot recommend it enough. Cameron and Lynn go out of their way to make you feel very welcome - I just wish I could have stayed there longer. I booked to have an evening meal and this was superb. The breakfast was equally good and included Clootie... more

What a lovely friendly welcome awaited us at Dunchraigaig. My daughter had flown up to Scotland from a hectic pace of life in London and joined her parents for three nights in beautiful Kilmartin Glen. It is a place which draws you back (Julia and I first visited in 2007 for national theatre scotland outdoor theatre event). This time we discovered... more

Just back from another wonderful weekend break at the Dunchraigaig - this was our fourth visit and just as good as every other stay. Lynn and Cameron are fantastic hosts and really go the extra mile to provide you with the perfect break. The location is ideal for exploring Kilmartin Glen, but also well placed to visit Crinan, Knapdale, Oban... more

Spent 5 days at Duchraigaig House as a base for the exploration of Argyll with emphasis on Kilmartin and surrounding area. The attention to detail provided by Lynn and Cameron was apparent in everything from the comfort of the room to breakfast, dinner, and providing a warming fire in the guest lounge after a day out hill walking. Lynn and... more

A lovely B & B in a great location. Very nice clean & comfortable rooms. Great breakfasts with a different special everyday. LOads of information & maps provided on places of interest & restaurants to visit. An added bonus is the Pine Marten that comes to visit the bird table most evenings. more

We came to Kilmartin to experience this ancient site, with cairns and standing stones in abundance. We found ourselves in a beautiful valley and in reach of lochs, islands and ocean. Our joy was increased by our stay at Duncraigaig House. Our hosts, Lynn and Cameron, could not do enough for us. Our room was beautifully presented and very comfortable,... more
