I don't know about the nice reviews, but we certainly did not have the same experience. This is at best a three star hotel. 1) The owners seemed very nice, but did not speak much english. Lovely renovated 17th century stone building in the Chianti Rufina region. By far, the nicest accomodation we found in Italy.
