Just got back from 2 nights at the Villa Tacchi after touring the area. It was clean and comfortable and well situated for Nove, Vicenza, Versona and Venice. The staff was helpful and multilingual. We enjoyed the peaceful surroundings, too. Breakfast was a nice buffet and the villa is lovely. More

I was here for one night on a business trip, and the company I was visiting in Vicenza recommended Villa Tacchi. I found it to be a delightful refuge and a good value — although, given other recent reviews, I should note that the hotel was nearly empty when I stayed there (so no noise issues) and I got a... This hotel is a complete let down. It must have been rated it's 4 stars back in 1980 and then the hotel decided to let it ride because it sure isn't 4 stars anymore. This place is overpriced by management with visions of grandeur for what we got. We booked this place on Ilcastelli.net. I give this booking agent an... More

We were a little concerned by the reports of noise in previous posts, but we stayed mid week Monday to Thursday and so avoided the weekend parties. It was spookily quiet, primarily because it didn't have many guests. This is clearly set up as a daily conference venue, not a place to stay on holiday. The building was lovely. In... More

This place was a VERY BAD SURPRISE. It's a TRAP. Don't go there. No correspondence whatsoever with the photos and information on website. We do not understand how it can be classified as 4 stars. We had booked 2 nights and on arrival we cancelled the 2nd night immediately. The hotel is in an INDUSTRIAL AREA - we went in... More

We stayed here for 4 nights as a base camp for visiting Venice, Verona and Padova. The room was nicely furnished with antiques, though the toiletries were reminiscent of Best Western (plastic disposable cups in a 4 star hotel?). The location was very good, with easy access to the excellent Italian toll road system. It was only a 30-40 minute... More

My husband and I stayed here for one night as part of our Italian tour. We totally loved it here and is a little bit of luxury. It is very unique inside and has many hidden rooms and places to explore. The bedrooms are full of character and very romantic with wooden beams and wooden shutters on the windows. There... More

We stayed for a week at Villa Tacchi and were fortunate to have excellent weather - the previous weeks had been cool and damp and because of its location perhaps 10 miles from Vicenza, I would think boredom could easily set in. We went with Saga - another bugbear for other guests I suspect - as Saga reserve one of... More

Hotel had spacious clean rooms and nice grounds. Only three stories tall so the numerous wedding, anniversary, business gathering or some other groups, using the hotel constantly, played loud music and had big parties while we were trying to sleep. The hotel allowed the parties to spread out in front and back of the hotel, where there was also a... More
