We have been as a family of 4 to JBR for the past five years! Most of the staff are still the smae from our first visit and many of the guests we meet up with again and again(as we always go May half term) as do many others. The rooms are basic and quite small, but why do you... more

Just got back from a week at the Jolly Beach - our friends were getting married there which is the only reason we stayed at the resort - after reading some of the reviews we didn't want to stay there - we were going to book Cocos. OK - so the beach is fantastic - water sports facilities are great... more

First of all, this resort is really two resorts in one. There is the Hotel or 'all-inclusive' side and there is the Vacations (timeshare) side, this reveiw is based on the 'Vacations' side. Jolly Beach Vacations is a wonderful resort that offers both one and two bedroom units with kitchens. The accomidations are very nice, our two bedroom unit slept... more

We stayed at the jolly beach for 12 nights after moving from yet another disgraceful hotel in antigua. Our first impressions were ok but then we saw the real resort. We paid extra for a superior room but was not very superior certainly not up to any standard. The hotel restaurant looked more like a works canteen with birds flying round... more

Me and my partner got married at the Jolly Beach Resort On May 11th 2009. If your looking for a place to get married then I would recomend this hotel, the ceremony was very well presented and proffesional. The wedding co-ordinators do absolutely everything for you so all you have to do is turn up and say " I do"... more

So overall, we were happy with the holiday, which is good as we got married there. However it could have been better. The staff I found were hit and miss. Some really pleasant, others really rude (and I don't mean laid back). We had a Superior room, which after 3 nights we had to swap as we had an ant... more

Loved the resort, stayed may 9th - 16th. The location was good but the water was not clear, not a place to snorkel, Rooms were nice, but they need new pillows, I'd suggest to bring your own pillow. The Staff was exceptional.....very plesant and helpful . Went on a few exursions but a bit of advice...DON'T BOOK YOUR EXCURSIONS WITH... more

Since I used this website to get an idea of what to expect at the Jolly Bay Hotel I thought it would be a good idea to help others who might be planning a visit. I was there from the 4th to the 12th of May 2009 and stayed the whole time at the Jolly Beach Hotel. I travelled with... more

The Jolly Beach is one of those delightful finds that you'll want to return to. Whilst it has no pretentions to the contrary, it is fairly basic in what it offers but the staff there are a delight amd simply can't do enough for you. Its position on the beach makes it the perfect location for those, like me, who... more
