The half-tent-half-houses are close to the park gate in Sesriem. Bed, bathroom clean, must be new. Unfortunately the zipped windows can not protect you from strong winds in the summer season. We chose to stay at the Dessert Camp over another normal camping site, as we did not want to pack all camping equipment for only one night. Our short stay was definitely worth every cent. We arrived in the afternoon, after a long trip from Luederitz and a flat Tyre - all we were looking for, was a refreshing pool.... more

This is a very nice option to be close to the entrance of the Sossusvlei park, as it is considerably cheaper than the main Hotel.
