This B & B is first class, we have never had such amazing food before, the rooms were spotlessly clean, light, airy and very well presented with great views. This couple have worked really hard to the attention to detail. Thanks again!! And pets welcome too!!

My friend, her dog, and I stayed with Maurice and Shirley for 8 nights as we searched for a cottage to rent long-term (my friend intends to make this move to Ireland permanent). Our hosts went out of their way to help us--picked us up at the airport, drove us to get a rental car the next day, called acquaintances... More

It's an amazing house. The bedroom is very clean and the breakfast is simply perfect. The garden in front of the house is perfect to walk and relax, and if the conditions are good, you can see an amazing view of the Cliffs. Maurice and Shirley are excellent and you can feel like home. Lovely place, a small paradise close... More

Me and my friend came here after another B&B turned us down. We had the best B&B experience of our trip here. The hosts are very nice and knowledgeable and the breakfast is absolutely amazing. We arrived late, which was not a problem and Maurice called the pub in the next town to check if we'd still get some dinner.... More

We were welcomed by Maurice into his lovely quiet house. The Bedroom was clean and our dog was allowed in the room but with a surprise extra €10.00 charge on departure. The bathroom was so small that you had to slide onto the toilet to avoid bashing your hip on the sink. The Shower was also very small and there... More

This is the place to go if you love to visit. The breakfasts are very extensive regardless of what you order; and very artistically done! Our room had a small balcony which overlooked the sea in the distance. Do not miss staying here if you are in the area!

Our stay at Carrig House has already been in May (4 months gone), but only now I get to write a review... My boyfriend and I still talk about Maurice and Shirley now and then, they are SO remarkable people!! When we arrived there (without pre-booking, just driving by), they welcomed us warmly and asked, if we wanted a tea.... More

Carrig House was recommended by a friend and lived up to everything they said! Maurice and Shirley were wonderful hosts! Maurice helped us plan our activities and gave us tips on how to make the most of the area near the Cliffs of Moher. Breakfast was a definite highlight! We were never even hungry for lunch. They had a wide... More

We spent a couple of nights at the lovely Carrig House in Juily - we wish it could have been longer - we will definitely return. Maurice and Shirley are so welcoming and we have never seen a breakfast like it! Shirley makes the best ever porridge and there is so much food it keeps you going all day. Maurice... More

We had a very warm welcome by the hosts, Maurice and Shirley, so we felt comfortable and at home at once. The room we had was clean, large and bright like the other ones, just the bathroom was very small, but we managed. Our hosts were very accommodating, looking after us charmingly. Maurice has a lot of useful local informations... More
