Seamount House is a beautiful B&B located just outside the village of Liscannor and about 5mins from the Cliffs of Moher. Owner Ann Thynne represents the very best of a disappearing breed of B&B owners who take great pride in their houses and evidently still enjoy meeting and looking after guests.

The house itself is beautifully decorated and situated in spectacular gardens. On arrival just to enquire about availability, I was immediately offered a welcoming cup of tea. My room was spacious, tastefully decorated and had a marvellous shower.
It was spotlessly clean.

Breakfast the next morning included fresh fruit and home made brown bread and Ann sat and chatted with me. The rate was incredibly good value and I can honestly say I would have happily paid more for this experience. This is Irish hospitality as it used to be before the explosion of soulless hotels.
