We stayed here for 1 night in April 2012. The first impression was good. A friendly and enthusiastic lady welcomed us, offered us a drink and immediately asked us if supper at 18.30h was okay. This is where the positive part unfortunately ended. Once we were shown our room, we noted we only got 1 room instead of the 2... More

This hotel represents excellent value for money. If you decide not to take the half-board package there are other facilities availble within walking distance, even for people with walking problems, as most of this is on the flat. All of Europe is quite expensive now, but the Mosel Valley is certainly much cheaper than a lot of France. A pint... More

Stayed at the Muhle Dec 2010. Read with some concern some of the reviews but no probs as hotel was clean and warm, would not bother with half board option as food was basic, would strongly recommend walking less than 5 mins down the hill by the bus stop to BISTRO INFOTEK where you will receive a warm welcome from... Set in a great location a collection of different buildings that have appeal. The food was basic but cooked well and there was plenty. The staff were helpful, and some are right to say that they don't understand English but it is the Mosel valley Germany. Carman the manager who did speak a little English was nice. Let's not forget you... More

Yes, it is a little tired looking and yes, the keys were handed out in the car park but what else can you do when passengers with walking problems can be seen and given ground floor rooms etc. - it makes sense that rooms are allocated to abilities. Rooms are a good size, very clean, beds are comfortable and showers... More

Good evening meal selection with soup, meat, pasta or potatoes, vegatables, salad, dessert & drinks from the bar each evening. Carman & her staff were very friendly... More

Had a lovley stay at this friendly hotel. My room was off the courtyard which is the place to be, not in the main building, it was clean, basic but nice with plenty of storage space, great hot and powereful shower. The bed was comforably soft. The continal breakfast was very good as was the 3 course evening meal. Much... More

Just come back from spending the New Year with a group of 17 of us in this pleasant hotel in Burgen and we all enjoyed it very much. \The rooms were really well designed and we had plenty of room for our bits and the bathrooms were really good and the showers nice and hot. We had to turn the... More

Had an overnight stay here, en route to Austria and back, with Phoenix travel. We had a lovely big room just off the courtyard. Was very clean and warm with lovely pine furniture and a massive bed! There was a big bathroom, and again, very warm. Central heating was never turned off as in other hotels! We found the staff... More
