Wow, What a great place to stay. We just loved the setting, the views were incredible and the staff very nice. The accomodations were roomy and clean and very comfortable. The villa is a little out of the way, but it's a nice place to stay. (And the railway line into Florence isn't too far away.) The property is made up of a main house with hotel-type rooms, and lots of apartments in surrounding buildings. There are two pools, one quiet and one a bit noiser with a small bar.... more

Although Villa Saulina may be considered by some to be out in the sticks it boasts the most beautiful views, particularly from the al fresco dining area.
