We were in karpathos in the beginning of May 2012,we stayed in Pigadia but found this taverna in ammopi and we are very glad we did...the food was very very good and the prices very cheap..the food was so good we drove every night to Ammopi to eat in Esperida.we recommend the beef and goat stifado...! we tried esperida two weeks ago and we have to recomend this taverna to all of you!!
they have homemade food and very big portions.We ate fresh fish, karpathian makarounes,the BEST MIX GRILL , pizza..even the bread is homemade and its the best we tried on the island.Another very good thing is that there is playground for children and ours...

we visited esperida in august 2010.The food was fantastic and there was big variety of dishes to choose from..After trying many restaurants we decided that it was the best food at the best prices.You MUST try esperida when you are in Karpathos.
