Great resort, quite secluded! very relaxing, top notch service from everyone there. The staff is also very helpful in finding deals for tours etc. Drivers were really friendly. If you're looking for a resort away from the busy city life then this is a great place to stay. Location is about 10-15mins drive from the city.

We had 5 nights at The Beach Republic & enjoyed our stay there. The room, staff & food were all great. The actual beach is nothing to rave about but you have 2 pools to choose from. Price of food was reasonable, serves weren't large but were good quality.

We were upgraded to the presidential villa with our own private pool. The location of this villa was so great. Breakfast was fantastic. They have a sunday party day, excellent. Eat, drink and swim all day whilst listening to the dj........ I want to go back just for that. Thinking of buying a villa there!!!

Great staff, service and amenities , could be closer to Lami beach

THe beach republic is a bit far way from the main attractions and restaurants in koh samui. The only thing near by is a 7 eleven. everything else is a 15minute taxi ride away. We had a two storey unit with a private pool. Very beautiful house. The brakfast selection was a bit poor.

Stayed here on a voucher for 5 nights. If you are not up to walking, it is only 200baht to get a cab to Lamai, 400 baht to Chaweng, and about 500 baht to Bahpout.
