Villa Bryggekanten, the charming fishing village of Henningsvaer is situated on several islands. This cluster of islands are surrounded by impressive mountains that steeply rises up from the salty Lofoten sea. There are no shopping centres here, instead there are lots of small and cosy shops, studios, galleries and places to eat. Here you can experience the Midnight Sun, Northern Lights, Autumn Storms and the most amazing Summer Days - all depending on season and weather. But, no matter when you arrive, nature will be beautiful, challenging and setting the mood. Hope to see you!! Ingar Halland Hotel Manager

Perfect location, great views, and friendly service made this one night stay very enjoyable. We even used the bikes on property to ride around the town. Breakfast was nice and the reception staff is extremely helpful.

Happy to stay in this hotel. Friendly staff, good location. Room is not big but clean and tidy. Breakfast is not so variety but overall is okay. Henningsvær is a small town which you can walk around. I stay just one night, too short. Hope to visit this town again, and of course I will choose to stay at this hotel.

When we arrived we were told that the restaurant was closed on Thursdays. Well it is a hotel and I have never experienced a hotel restaurant that is closed any day of the week. Secondly there are no televisions in the rooms. The only option is to use the one they have in the reception area. Whatever the hotel owners think it should be up to the guests to decide if they want to watch TV-news-etc or not. And for the price they charge it just should be there. The rooms are also very small, and there are none amenities in the bathrooms.. Breakfast is very basic compared to hotel breakfasts in neighbouring village Svolvær. Our room did not have the best location and we where waken up bu the bin-men early in the morning. I would definitely recommend to readers of this to consider another accommodation in this village.

First the good news: very cosy reception and restaurant, nice service, nice location, but the most important is missing: rooms are very small and get hot. As the rooms are small the bed is also rather small. All this makes it difficult to get a good nights sleep, and when this combined with a high price of over 220€/room and a view to a wall or parking lot the equation is not working.

In our 2 week roadtrip to Lofoten and the northern part of Norway, this hotel was the best hotel we stayed at. We had room - 204 - with direct view to the harbour and woking in the morning with the view was a perfect start of the day. The room is cosy, very well decorated with two comfortable chairs and a excellent bed - with soft linen. Beautiful. Heated floor at the bathroom - wauw - a great hotel. The hotel is perfect - with hang out corners everywhere - all with that sight of the harbour. Very smiling and welcoming staff - especially the young lady in the breakfast room. And talking about breakfast which is - of course in the room with views of the harbour. Just lovely - and so was the breakfast. Parking is free and beside the hotel. EXCELLENT HOTEL.

What we did love by this hotel was the restaurant and the location. We got a fabulous view of the sea. And in the eveing we had a magical dinner at their restaurant. The waters were superb and their food was lovely. The service in the reception was good, but not brilliant.

This was the worst experence during our trip to Lofoten. First of all: I hate it when hotels put me in a disabled room without asking me if it is ok. It has an institutional feel that I really dislike. Second: You have to clean the room prior to our arrival better than this. Having travelled the world for decades, this is the first time ever that I have openend the WC and found stool on the inside walls. Digusting and really a reason for concern. Third: I prepaid, but was charged again upon departure. Highly unprofessional! I will review the restaurant separately because they delivered quality in the other end of the scale.

This location is one of my favourite places in Norway. Located at the dock, this hotel has a perfect view to an authentic Norwegian coastal site. The town is unique in the sense that there are lots of artists, sailers, climbers and people from all over the world gathering to enjoy nature and creativity. The restaurants are amazing, and the hotel is very pleasant - the staff really helpful. We’ll be back!

It is part of the Classic hotels in Norway but their service in cleaning our hotel room was very bad and their service in the breakfast was so lousy. Location was perfect as it was by the sea. Please improve your service otherwise this establishment has no reason to be part of Classic hotels in Norway. We stayed here for two nights and you could see my hair strands was on the floor and in the bathroom on day 2. It means that the cleaners did not even bother to vacuum our room. They did not change the cups we used to make coffee as well. Very bad considering we paid also for a full price on the 2nd day. This is not a hostel. This is a hotel so we expect you clean the rooms thoroughly and not just fix our bed and put some clean towels. When it comes to the service during the breakfast, their service was awful. They served the food after 40 minutes waiting. The personnel needs some serious training. They gave a knife without a fork. You have to ask. When they gave the fork, it did not come with a napkin. You feel like they just hired people who have no idea how to run a hotel. The quality of the breakfast was good with bacon and eggs but because of the lousy service and the long waiting time, the whole experience became bad. Only a few parking spaces beside the hotel but we were lucky to find one in the two nights we stayed here. If you drive an electric car, they have 1 charging station in the parking area. I recommend you bring your own soap, shampoo and balsam as they do not have those small bottles provided by most hotels in the world. They have soap dispensers. Be aware they do not have tv. We have stayed in another classic hotels in Norway but we had a wonderful experience in Hotel Utsikten in Geiranger.

We stayed one night in Henningsvær, and we found the most beautiful location at this hotel. We had a real good luck ti get a nice sea/harbour view from the room. The room was a bit narrow, but it had a 2nd floor with 2 extra beds for families. The breakfast was good, even if the corona rules made it a bit limited. The staff at the hotel was very nice, service minded and made us feel "home".
